First, the bad news.
My computer, the one we do the show on, took a giant shit. So large was its deuce, that a doctor had to open it up and replace portions of its innards. Episode 70 was stuck on the runway. I was feeling frustrated.
Then my phone rang.
“Hello?” I asked.
The voice on the line spoke only three words. “It is ready.”
Then the beer came.
Brewer Isaac (along with his lovely wife & 6 month-old son) arrived at my door with 36 bottles of what might be some of the best beer I’ve ever tasted. For reals. I don’t know how he did it, but Isaac managed to take everything I love about beer, separate it from everything I hate, and cap it in an old Sam Adams bottle.
Brewer Isaac explaining -- and Aaron’s first taste of -- his magnificent creation:
Next time we have a party, I know who’s bringing the booze.
Sorry about missing a week. We hate when it happens. If it’s any consolation, in the next few days I’m going to have a shiny, new desktop on which to kick way more ass. Stay tuned.

Thank you Brewer Isaac! I keep asking Aaron for one but he says he “misplaced them”. I have now catnapped one of his cats. We will see if that jogs his memory…

Epic Aaron-repeater moment with the “mmhmm”s at 1:45 in.
I would drink the shit out of that beer.
(Also, Aaron, did you see my tweet about the Mac hard drive warranty thing? If you bought your Macbook in 2006 or 2007 they might fix you up for free.)

DAMMIT! Why can’t I stop doing that?!
Are you around Seattle, Josh? I can’t remember. I feel like you’re in CA. If you’re around, email me & you’ve got one with your name on it.
I did see your tweet. Thank you! It all fell under AppleCare, so no repair charges. I’ve been doing the show on a white MacBook since we started, & it’s been glitchy for months; the canary has been passed out for a long time, so to speak. Apple replaced the laptop’s HDD & a few other things, but it’s going to be my wife’s computer now. Rather than load her up with all the programs I use for the show, I’m going to wait a few days, and get my new machine set up properly.

Ahh, sounds good. Just wanted to make sure you weren’t getting ripped off. Gotta keep my grapes healthy and happy. (Huhhh huhhhh.)
I am indeed in California. It’s how I’m friends with former YWAMer and listener Mary, who introduced me to you all. I’m about to move to Nashville, though, which doesn’t really help at all, but my girlfriend lives there, offsetting the sadness I’m feeling for not getting to taste a GoRad IPA.

As much as I would love to think so, Cherry Garcia is not a force to be reckoned with…

if i didn’t know better… i’d think you’re statement was eluding to the fact that your wife thoroughly enjoyed drinking while pregnant… but alas, this is not Florida.
