As previously mentioned, Ben & I went to a party thrown by fellow Seattle podcast Too Beautiful To Live. Ever since we had host Luke Burbank on our very own Episode 53, a slew of “10s” (as the ginormous TBTL audience is known) have been gracious enough to share their earholes with deez Grapes, too.

Since 10s and the folks at TBTL are some of the greatest people ever, we’re always down with hanging out when we get the chance. Engineer Sean DeTore (who also hosts his own rad mixtape show) spent the evening running around with a video camera asking random incriminating questions, and Ben & I both got cornered and forced to confess.

Special thanks to DJ and his crew for taking us to a fantastic Irish pub in downtown Tacoma (I know, right?) for a grand after hours celebration. And don’t worry, DJ, I’m almost pretty sure that midget didn’t have an adam’s apple.

The new Nike ad featuring Tiger Woods was released several days ago. In it, audio clips of Tiger’s dead dad Earl -- pieced together as smoothly as when Chef joined the Super Adventure Club -- are played over video of the golf legend looking like he’s 8 years old and about to get the belt.

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen

At the end of our Christmas Special, David Bazan played his version of the yuletide classic God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen live in Studio B. We captured not only audio, but also waves of light reflecting off of his and other surfaces, which were then digitized and put into a computer! Your computer!

i don’t remember how if i “found” Cooper Black on myspace, or if they found me, but i dig their music. that’s for sure. they were offline for a bit, but have returned, and posted a new music video for their song Bicycle Chain, which has some guest vocals (no, not by me). BUT I AM IN THE VIDEO!

i appear to be a TV shop owner(?) it’s a brief but exciting moment for me. thanks, CB. you guys are great.
