The Grapes of Rad #125: Tennis Pro

It’s a Record Release Party!!

Tennis Pro‘s David Drury and Phillip Peterson are live in Studio B and we play ELEVEN TRACKS (seven in full & un-talked over!) off of their soon-to-be-released album Shimokita is Dead? We love the record, we think you will, too, and  we’re not the only ones.

“How soon-to-be-released exactly?” you ask.
“IN JUST THREE DAYS!” we shout, clamping your head between our hands, shaking violently.

Tennis Pro is throwing party this Thursday (6/30) at 8pm to celebrate the release of Shimokita is Dead?, and we’re making it an official unofficial Grapes event!

You’ll be able to buy the album, and meet the guys, as well as hear great music all night long. KEXP recommends you be there, and you wouldn’t want to anger KEXP, would you?

The other bands on the bill are rad, too (for reals):

Thee Emergency
We Wrote the Book on Connectors
Blue Skys for Black Hearts

RSVP like the wind, Listener! You can buy tickets here.

Recording “Rock Over Tokyo”

Tennis Pro is also playing in Portland on July 8th at Backspace.
